NeuronDotNet

About Us

NeuronDotNet is an open source dot net compatible neural engine initiated by Vijeth D and Mounesh Badiger, final year students of computer engineering, NITK Surathkal, India.

"I came across neural networks for the first time in December 2005, when I started working on 'Handwritten Devanagari Character Recognition System'. This was one of the problem statements for Techfest 2006 (annual technical festival of IIT Bombay, India) held during January 2006. When I attended the contest, I happened to meet participants from various parts on the country and learn their approach towards pattern recognition. Since then, I always wanted to develop a neural network engine." - Vijeth D

"I always used to wonder why computer systems with enormous computing power fail to think by themselves. I came to know the complexity only when I learnt about pattern recognition and the techniques used to achieve this." - Mounesh Badiger
